Arnold & Son HM Perpetual Moon Aventurine

Arnold & Son created the HM Perpetual Moon Aventurine as a tribute to all the explorers who went before. Today’s adventurer uses many tools that are more precise than astronomy, but that doesn’t mean we’ve ever stopped looking toward the heavens. This piece is high precision and has a sophisticated style that keeps the moon’s cycle where you can always see it.
The dial is made from a blue aventurine stone, and the moon travels across the top just as it does in the night sky. The design is art, science and engineering all brought together in one watch. The highly detailed, engraved moon is elegantly paired with the deep blue night full of stars on the dial. The watch is hand-wound and has a caliber of A&S1512, a new caliber that was created just for this line of moonphase timepieces. To give it reserve power of 90 hours, it has a double barrel. With this precision, the watch will lose only one day in 122 years. When this happens, be sure your descendants know to put it back in sync by pressing the corrector for an instant correction every 122 years.
This 27-jewel watch has a movement made from nickel and silver that has been treated with rhodium. Every element of this watch has been designed for both precision and elegance. The brown alligator leather strap has been hand-stitched, and the sapphire crystal is anti-reflective for easy viewing. The case is red gold, and the back is tapered to fit the wrist with the same precision as its movement. It’s the perfect watch to take into all of your adventures.
